Prof. Marvill's Spectacular Aerialists Show Orchestra is a 9-piece salon orchestra: flute, clarinet, a string quartet, bass, drums & percussion, and (occasionally) banjo ukulele. Under the direction of Fred Ubaldo, Jr., the ensemble performs original music primarily ragtime in nature (rags, waltzes, marches), along with a few global styles (tango, choro). Not only is the music pleasant to hear, the orchestra is a delight to watch in concert.
